Lower Avon near Tewksbury

Hi Guys, We are away in our touring caravan in a couple of weeks on the lower Avon on a small site in Bredon near Tewkesbury. I expect bream, roach etc but have you any idea on tactics & bait requirements etc. Any suggestions. cheers John

Chopped worm caster g/bait for pole and same for feeder if there is colour in river it will fish ok
pole 8/9 mtrs feeder middle to 2thirds over
1/2 pt reds for hook
If you find a peg with 7 or 8 ft @ 7or8 mtrs can sometimes catch a few on hemp

if u pop into the tackle shop in tewksbury town centre and av a word with proprietor rob danter im sure he will put u right

Wagg n Magg not the best method
It can be deep pole works well long line can catch good bags Roach /Skimmers when pleasure fishing
Go into Tewkesbury Robs shop is about 400yds from the statue in the middle of the town on the left hand side of rd toward motorway
if you are coming into town from motorway it is about half way down the 1st lot of shops you pass on right hand side
