    Anyone got info on the flights match pool, have heard the owner has restocked but dont know if this is true, if so what tacktics dose anyone recommend.

      fished a club match there in august. weights were nothing to shout about but there are some lumps in there. seems very over grown in places. our match was won with only 15lbs, 20 fished. nice looking pool though. very different.

        Dont sound as though he's restocked then, so Saturday could just be slug it out for one or two fish then. What did they catch on and was it won at bottom entrance end or further up the pool?

          all the best catches were the at the top end of the pool, away from the entrance.
          i caught my carp on prawns and corn. others caught on meat, corn and maggots.
          the lads in the first few pegs struggled with mainly skimmers and small chub being caught.
          a couple of barbel came out and they were both about 2lb
