What baits are favoured on Middle and Island pool in the open matches, and what pellet is being used.
I see some big waits coming on the floating pole there I wondered what bait is fished on this and what is peoples opinion of th FP.

You don't see anyone fishing floating pole up there, you just want 4mm feed and 6mm exp.fish 300mm deep with no float keep firing bait(20-30) pellets every 30 seconds, place pole on a bump bar so just tip touches water 11-13m.,also on deck from 1m to 6m is good depending on how many are on the match, but you always have a few close at start then go uot to 3m then out to6m as they back off 14hooks .16 line is ok as not massive weights at present, upto 180lb so rig don't take as much hammer as when 250 - 300lb normal summer net's are on.
