Hi everyone, just heard that pulla bungs are banned at decoy? Can anyone verify or shed any light on this? Thanks in advance!

Yes, di has banned pulla kits, she couldnt give us a sensible reason why! She is trying her hardest to ruin a superb fishery..

I'd have to agree, certainly seems like a strange one as far as fishery rules go. I wondered wether people are still using the same top kits without actually using the puller, or completely changing tops to standard bungs??

We asked if we could tape them up, and she said no, we hold 6 matches a year and we are nnow thinking of moving else where.

Guess nothing she does should suprise anybody but hey-ho its her place so guess you just have to go along with the rules

i will not be replacing my pulla's but will tape up so they can not be seen or used

Think she banned the method not to long back then changed her mind and now its ok again !!!!!!!!!!! so she may change her mind over the pulla's

pulla,s was aloud about a month ago but some of the open regulars wasn't happy about it(dont know why ) and it started a debate with diane,so she just turned round and said, sod it no pulla,s so there s no arguing.and that is the end of that

at the end of the day,its dianes fishery and you have to respect her rules, you dont need pulla kits anyway, the place is solid with fish : )

Lee47, im all for fishery rules, however di cant give a reasonable answer why she has banned them, thats what annoys me! The thing is she wont ban the weekend nodders who fish with 3lb test rods, 15ld main line and size 6 hooks who will quite hapily yank out a 3lb carp. Like another wierd rule, no cage feeders (method) but will alllow pellet feeder which has the same bolt effect. She makes no sense with her rules. Shame!

ive been fishing there for 15 yrs or more and the rules havent changed that much from 15yrs ago apart from bread being banned, and the method being allowed, its never made no difference to the match results,100lb-200lb week in week out,the place is heaving from spring to autumn.would pulla,s make a big difference? or are they just a gimmick.forgive my ignorance, but i dont own any pulla kits and never used one,i frame and win alot of matches down at decoy ,so what could a pulla do for me?
