hi i am on the big lake at sumners pond in a few weeks how is it fishing whats the best baits methods and depths like

I fish at Sumners a fair bit, not the big lake though only the pond and the match lake.

I know that the half of the lake nearest the car park/lodge has caravan pitches for the carp boys, so they normally have the matches round the other side

When is your match? I will pop down there, and see if I can find out what the score is at the moment
