As stewie says meat or pellet shalla on split lake/ lilly you can go for ide with worm n caster but feed a pellet line for carp at 13/14mtr lanta just fish across worm n caster or pellet popped up bread also works on split and lilly all the best

          Hi All.
My lad fished the match on saturday 16th june, he was on split lake.
Did not fish well at all, everyone strugled, personally did not rate the place, another one of the buy our feed pellets blag, they were skrettings with a few red pellets in the bag, £2 a bag.
He had 5lb 2oz, and he drew on the boards at the end of the lake, looked like a good peg, but the wind had been blowing down the other end of the lake, thats were the fish were.
All in all not a good day, the teams first outing on a comercial, and they came last.
          All the best steve.
