  • Hardwick Hall

    Hi all

Has anyone fished this venue in the east midlands at all?

If so...any recommendations as to what bait, set up etc?

    Cheers

Not fished it for a year or so but had good bream with corn on the method fishing in the shallow end of the first lake. Carp anglers fish the dam wall casting to the Lilly beds. Pellet on the pole at any distance in the deeper water again on the dam wall. Lovely water to fish but the M1 is a tad annoying. Hope this helps.

I had heard that the National Trust who own the lakes have netted and removed all the fish to let it go back to nature.
Try and ring the Hardwick Hall visitors cent and enquire on the fishing
