One of the worst areas for pike and zander, just a sad fact,Any double fig pike from the Avon is a result,Zeds are there but dont come easy and you ideally need to get access to fish after dark,Canals have produced a few odd BIG pike and some Zander but constant persecution by the c&r trust via electro fishing makes it difficult,Best option is A BAA membership and a Leamington card could be worth a look,These two offer huge amounts of river/canal waters to target, but very limited after dark venues, A pike venue worth consideration is the one run by Tony TK on here, not fished it myself but have seen a few results and is great VFM. Most of the cuts hold a few zeds but a lot tend to be schoolies now,the late Alan Lewis had a couple of doubles from around the Lapworth area (not the pounds) but again they suffer from electro fishing, would love to be able to put you on some hot waters but they just are few and far between or people are tight lipped about them. Best of luck with the preds.
Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints.

TK has stretches of canals around the Walsall area and up towards Cannock, there policy is that all pike should be returned un harmed. PM Tony hes a nice bloke he will give you the gen think the club cards are just a fiver.
