    Just joined. mainly a all round angler living in dagenham essex.
    MY son aged nine is fishing mad and started fishing on the waggler. Just bought him a feeder rod and reel for his birthday which he likes. mostly fishing bdac club waters.
    My son wants a pole as he has just started fishing the junior club matches but money is a bit tight at the moment. he still has some birthday money left so may be after some advice soon for a pole.

      its good to see youngsters starting off with a rod and reel and not going straight onto the pole, just wish i had the patience to teach my lad to use a rod, couldn't cope with all the tangles
