    Hi everyone

    New member here - just getting back into fishing after a long hiatus due to work etc. Been lurking since early summer and thought it was about time I registered and joined in a bit here.

    Mostly been fishing the local canal and a nearby commercial trying to get back into things.

    Got myself a Shimano Technium XTB recently so have been getting back into pole fishing - nice to use good kit instead of the 15 year old Browning pole I have.

    Im a pleasure angler (no interest in matches.) Just in it to get outdoors and catch a few.

      Yes, welcome on board. Here for fishing of all disciplines although match fishing is usually the subject of most threads.
      I'm sure you'll find plenty of advice about pole fishing, so ask away if you need anything...
