where to take a new comer to fishing

Hi guys
My youngest lad is 13 and wants to go fishing with me, does anyone know any good venues i can take him to get him into it and get a few bites, we are from mansfield but dont mind travelling a few miles to catch a few fish

What about this place..coarse and carp fishing, air gun shooting and dog kennels in mansfield, nottingham.. just down the road from you.
